Golden Lake – It was all fairly quiet on the North Algona Wilberforce front, and at the Golden Lake Community Centre, as results came in showing the incumbent council was soundly endorsed and returned to office.
“I’m really pleased, and I am pleased we have the same council,” Mayor James Brose said as the final votes were released on Monday night. “I think the ratepayers were happy with the job we did in the last four years.”
