Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a fatal crash involving a pickup truck and two passenger cars on Round Lake Road, near Jack’s Lake, in the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards.
The crash occurred around 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Preliminary investigation has revealed the pickup truck travelling northbound on Round Lake Road struck two passengers cars travelling southbound. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger in the pickup truck, and the driver of one of the passenger cars were taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The name of the deceased has been withheld pending next of kin notification.  
A portion of Round Lake Road from Doran Road to Red Rock Road has been closed while officers conducted an investigation.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) have attended the scene and are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.  
This is the second fatal collision investigated by the Killaloe OPP detachment in 2019. On Sunday, May 26, OPP investigated a fatal collision involving an all-terrain vehicle, in the Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan.
