Thirsty Thieves Arrested Inside Beer Retailer Premises

Pembroke — A pair of 19-year-old Pembroke boys face several charges after they were found by Ontario Provincial Police inside the premises of a beer retailer, in possession of break-in tools, stolen beer and merchandise. Donavon Henry-Keeping and Matthew John Rourke, both 19 and both of Pembroke, have been charged with break and enter and committing an indictable offence, theft under $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments. Henry-Keeping was also charged with breach of recognizance. They will appear in court August 6. Police responded to the alarm around 5 a.m. on June 16. The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS) is assisting with the investigation.
