Sale of Water Tower Lodge brings about name change

Water Tower Lodge in Barry’s Bay was sold last week to Dr. George Mathew and his wife, Mini. The 16-year-old three-storey retirement home was originally built by a group of Barry’s Bay and area business people and eventually ended up being owned by Ray and Paula Pastway of Combermere. The new owners have changed the name of the home to Champlain Gardens Retirement Home.

Barry’s Bay -- Water Tower Lodge in the heart of the village has new owners and also a new name.

Dr. George Mathew and his wife, Mini officially took possession of the 16-year-old three-storey facility last Wednesday, July 15.
