Winner Claims 25gs in Catch the Ace

The Ace of Space was found in last Thursday’s Catch the Ace draw sponsored by the St. Francis Healthcare Foundation.
The lucky winner was Rachel Stamplicoski who chose envelope number 15. The number is special to her as it is her youngest son’s birthday. In total, she won $24,935.50. Ms. Stamplicoski live sin Wilno and has been an employee at Valley Manor for 39 years.
Over nine weeks, Catch the Ace has raised an amazing $34,654, according to Foundation executive director Erin Gienow.
Mrs. Stamplicoski was presented with her winnings at her workplace with the support of her co-workers and residents. She was on cloud nine. Her husband, Charlie, was by her side to accept the cheque.
“We are thrilled with the success of our first Catch the Ace Lottery,” Ms. Gienow said. “Many thanks to everyone who supported the lottery by purchasing a ticket. We also want to thank our wonderful team of volunteers, the Ash Grove Inn for hosting our weekly draws and the vendors for selling the tickets on our behalf.
“There have been many winners as part of this lottery,” she added. “We have had our weekly winners and, of course, our progressive winner but most importantly proceeds from the lottery will help support Valley Manor Redevelopment. Simply by purchasing a lottery ticket, supporters were investing in a new building for the residents at Valley Manor.
“That is a win, win situation all around.”
Ms. Gienow said the Foundation will be submitting an application to start another lottery soon.
