Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

Alexa Waito (nee Krueger) of Pembroke, wife of the late Elmer Waito. Loving mother of Cyril Waito (Shelley) and predeceased by daughter Patricia Burger (James).
Loving Grandma of Martin Burger (Shelly), Karl Burger (Susan) and Sarah Desourdy (Stefan). Loving Great-Grandma of Ryan, Liam and Sonja. Survived by her brother, Conrad Krueger (late Lucy), Pembroke; and sisters, Joanna Spencer (late George), Pembroke and Dulcie Susin (Fermino), Niagara Falls. Predeceased by her siblings Clifford (late Marion), Viola Kruger (late Harold), Ray (late Amanda), James (Vera), Stanley (late Elva), Phyllis Susin (John), Josephine and Gilbert. Daughter of the late William and Johanna Krueger (nee Lemke). Alexa will also be missed by her special cat “Tommy”.

Visitation was at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. A Funeral Service was held at Christ Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

Spring interment in Christ Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the OSPCA (Pembroke) or Christ Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
