It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alice Minnie (Kranz) Panke surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in her 81st year.

Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Earl Panke. Much loved and cherished mother to Donald (Penny), Barry (Lori), Linda (Pat) and Steven (Glenda). Loving grandma to Brandon (Mellissa), Dylan (Selena), Danielle (Max), Nicholas (Taiya), Steven, Theresa and Jenna (Dalton). Loving great grandma to Denver and Paislee. Alice was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Bertha (Walther) Kranz, and her siblings, Delauris Heins, Annabelle Kranz, Ardella Pauhl, Elsie Gunn, and Stanley Kranz. Alice will be sadly missed by her much loved sisters, Eleanor Heins and Phyllis Kuehl.

A very special thank you to the staff at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew for their wonderful care of Alice and the compassion shown to our family in the time prior to and after Alice’s passing.

Final arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe. Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14 from 10 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service took place at 2 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church, Killaloe. Interment followed at Emmanuel Baptist Cemetery, Killaloe.
