Passed away peacefully at Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on Monday, October 14, 2019 in his 91 year. Survived by his wife Edwina, sons Scott (Rickie), Bruce (Kathy), Eric (Robyn) and Daughter Lorna (Edward). Grandfather to Micheal, Christopher, Adam and Brittany (Mathieu Dubé). Step-grandfather to Justin (Tara) Byers and Jesse (Jessica) Byers. Step-great grandfather to Wesley Byers. Alvin also leaves behind his brother Herbert (Lila). He is pre deceased by his parents Adam and Augusta (Reinert) Martinat, sisters Madeline (Gayle Van Horne) and Meta (Wilmer Kumm) and great grand daughter Ebony Dubé.

Friends and family may call to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 6 – 8pm and again Monday morning from 9:30 – 10:30am. A Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville at 11am. Interment to follow in parish cemetery.
