1931 – 2024

Anna passed away peacefully at Carleton Lodge with family by her side on April 1, 2024.

Born in the Netherlands on April 2, 1931. Predeceased by her husband, Martin (2006). Loving mother of Peter (Anna) of Northbrook, Geraldine (Dennis Delaney) of Stittsville, and Tim (Rosanne) of Metcalfe, as well as lifelong foster children, Jane (Emeric Etmanskie) of Renfrew and Jack Lance (Chrissy) of Barry’s Bay. Dear grandma and great grandma to her 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Anna was also a loving foster mother to many over the years and a much loved aunt by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Frans, Bernard, Harrie, and Marinus and her sister, Dora. Survived by her youngest sister, Miet (all in the Netherlands).

Thank you to Carleton Lodge and a special, heartfelt thank you to West Carleton Village staff, where Anna resided for the last seven years.

Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, from 9 am until 12 pm. A funeral service will follow at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, Brudenell at 1 pm. Burial at Our Lady of the Angels Parish Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the Parish Hall.
