Anna Mary Afelskie of Cobden, Ontario passed away peacefully in the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Monday, December 7, 2020 in her 84th year.

Anna Afelskie, nee Burchat, loving wife of 63 years to Sylvester Afelskie. Proud mother of Gerard (Bev) Afelskie, late Lorraine (Peter) Ridgen, Peter (Vikki) Afelskie, Jerome (Mary) Afelskie, and Christine (David Rowe). Caring and devoted grandmother of Lucas, Patrick, Kelsie, Laura, Hailey and Brady. Fondly remembered by sisters, Sally Stoppa, Susie Luckasavitch, Joanne Biskup, and brothers, Laurence Biskup and Henry Biskup. Predeceased by her parents, Valentine (Alex) Burchat and Barbara Biskup, siblings, Sylvester Burchat, Nicholas Burchat, Isidore Burchat, Bernadette Lorbetskie, and Thomas Burchat.

Her kind and loving nature will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, large extended family and many friends. Friends may call at the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden, Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church, Osceola, Ontario, on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment St. Pius V Cemetery, Osceola.
