March 9, 1942 – August 6, 2023
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Clare Daniels on August 6th, 2023 at the age of 81.
After fighting pulmonary fibrosis for many years, we are blessed the end was peaceful… and at home at her happy place, Golden Lake. For this we are grateful….Mom is at rest.
Clare was the darling partner of Greg Amyot, proud and loving Mom to Carolyn Malboeuf (Chris Yeck) and David Daniels (Kim Daniels). She was the most beloved and cherished Nanny to Jordyn, Lilian and Sampson.
Clare was born in Liverpool and always thought of herself as a proud “Liverpudlian and Canadian”.
Mom will be sadly missed by many lifelong friends and relatives around the world, including England, Australia and the US . Her love of meeting new people made her many friends along her life, and she loved you all.
Many thanks to the Zohr Family Funeral Home in Eganville for their kindness and care to our family.
A small church service was held in Golden Lake, and it was beautiful… Mom would have approved!
A Celebration of Life and reception will be held in Ottawa in late fall. (Date to be posted once confirmed).
