It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Connie at her home while surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 45 years, Barry as well as her children, Angela (Gordon McCord), Derek (Chantel), Megan (Justin Lariviere) and Andrew (Chrissy Stokes). Her grandchildren brought her great joy: Ethan and Hailey McCutcheon, Darren and Tim McCord, Eryka and Riley Lariviere, Tyson, Miranda and Travis Robinson, and Justin and Emma Stokes.

Also a blessing in her life was her great-granddaughter, Aubree McCutcheon. She will be missed by her sister, Holly Duquette and her nephew, Mathew, his wife, Samm and great nephews, Waylon and Charlie.

Connie and her family truly appreciated the support of her friends, Dave and Maureen Bauman, Wendy Thompson, Sharon Carson, Heather MacMillan and Gerri Murray throughout her difficult times.

Connie was passionate about her work as a nurse for over 45 years in community nursing, retirement home, maternity, dialysis and most recently as a Professor at Algonquin College. She loved the opportunity to help make someone’s day just a little better.

Special thanks also to Dr. Matthew Kutschke, palliative care nurse Erin McCabe and the nursing staff of Access Healthcare Services.

The family asks that gifts of remembrance be given to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Beachburg Union Cemetery.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pinnacle Cremation Services, Renfrew.
