Passed away with loving family by her side on Thursday, July 11, 2019.
Elke Nagora (nee Thomssen) of Douglas, loving wife of 25 years to Mark Nagora. Mother of Rebecca Nagora (Doug Raddatz) and Natasha Nagora. Daughter of Lore Thomssen (nee Schnier) and the late Manfred Thomssen. Oma of Emilee, Brody and Jade Raddatz. Sister of Henning Thomssen (Sara). Daughter-in-law of Gerry Nagora and Nelda Clarke (Frank). Sister-in-law of Shelley Nagora and Dean Clarke. Aunt to Dirk & Annika Thomssen; Cory Nagora & Shelby Felske; and Delaney & Zoe Clarke.
Elke was a dedicated member of the Caressant Care Cobden Nursing Home & Retirement Home staff. She was known by family, friends and co-workers for her stubbornness, attention to detail and passion for horses.
A Memorial Service will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home Chapel, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, July 21st at 1:00 p.m. The Celebration of Elke’s life will continue at the Shady Nook Recreation Centre, 80 Richardson Crescent from 2 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital would be appreciated.
