It is with deep sadness and solemn regret that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Frankie Klygo of Killaloe, Ontario, on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 62.
Born on August 30th, 1958 in Pembroke, Ontario, Frankie was the sixth child of twelve parented by Frances Bielawski and Bazyli Klygo of Round Lake Centre.
Frankie happily enjoyed the last three years at his ToonTown property on Mountain View Road upon retiring to the area after a career as a Tire Replacement Technician, servicing tractor trailers in Southern Ontario from his home in Crystal Beach.
Frankie passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after battling bone cancer over the past year.
Frankie is survived by: his mother, Frances Klygo, his siblings: Marie Dombroskie, Bernadette Voldock, Andrew Klygo, Patrick Klygo, Henry Klygo, Frances (Franny) Hache, Elizabeth Russell, Anatasia (Tessie) Klygo, Joseph Klygo, Philip Klygo, and Agnes Ryckman, his step son, Greg Tallon, his aunts: Monica and Anne, nieces and nephews: David, Tom, Cindy, Anita, Edmund, Amy, Joseph, Caroline, Edward Jr, Sammy, Timothy, Laurie, Adam, Christine, Bryan, Jeffrey, Chris, Kevin, John, Melanie, Eliza, Chad, Kandace and Alissa, along with his cats, Momma and JayBird.
Frankie was predeceased by his common law partner, Donna Tallon, father, Bazyli Klygo, grandparents, Frank and Rose Bielawski, uncles, Edward, Francis and John, aunt, Agnes, nephew, Shawn and his feisty cat, Tee.
Special gratitude and thanks to Paddy Kohl and his household for providing the care for Frankie in his time of need. Your love and support to him is appreciated beyond words.
Frankie will always be remembered for his big heart and even bigger smiles, caring and loving nature, goofy humour and infectious laughter and as being a kind and generous man.
A celebration of Frankie’s life will take place later this year to honour his beautiful spirit.
