Gunter passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family the morning of Monday May 6th. He lost his battle with cancer at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. 

Gunter and his family moved from Germany to Canada in 1982 and were happy to make the Ottawa Valley their new home.
