Beloved Helen Pessin passed away peacefully at the Riverview Heights Retirement Residence at the tender age of 100 years old. During her lifetime, Helen wore many beautiful hats. From professional model, architectural drafter, teacher and technician, Helen had a life full of intrigue and excitement.
Helen will always be a big part of the community as she drafted the architectural plans for a restaurant and motel that are still in existence today. Although she had many professional accomplishments, the hat that suited her the best was being a devoted wife to Basil Pessin, a well-known local digital artist.

What many people did not know is that Helen was a gifted still life artist herself.
Loving aunt to Alison Smith-Lynn; great-aunt to Anastasia Lynn; and aunt-in-law to Thaddeus K. Lynn, MD. Helen is also survived by her adoring brother-in-law, Marc Pessin; her cousin, Alvin Carter, Sr.; and many, many other family members and dear friends. Helen was predeceased in death by her husband, Basil Pessin; sister, Rebecca J. Smith; brother-in-law, Joseph Smith; as well as her parents, John Jefferson and Eugenia Jefferson.

Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew.

Friends and family recently gathered in a private location in her honour.
