James John Jones passed away peacefully, with his loving children by his side at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the age of 86 years.

Jim Jones of Petawawa, dearly loved husband of the late Carolyn Jones (nee Kutschke). Caring and devoted father of Bruce Jones (Melissa), Pembroke; Blair Jones (Mindy), Petawawa; and Joann Shields (Jeff), Kanata. Boppa to Matthew (Kiana) & Carter (Tatyana) Jones; Regan, Mila (Oscar) & Willen Jones; Rory, Roen & Cara Shields. Son of the late Elmer and Violet Jones (nee Hollmer). Survived by siblings, Helen Bresseau (late Eldon), Donald “Donny” Jones (late Helen), and Diane Briscoe (late Daryl). Predeceased by siblings, Betty MacKenzie (late David), Lillian Collow (late Herb), Roy Jones (late Merle), Robert “Bobby” Jones (late Joan), Barbara Briscoe (late Brian), David Jones (Cathy), Susan Chmielewski, Pearl Carnegie (late Cecil), William “Billy” Jones, Reggie Jones (late Verla) and Philip Jones (Sandra). Special brother-in-law of John Kutschke (Carmen). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and valued Pepsi customers spanning over 50+ years.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.

Everyone is welcome to join in a celebration of Jim’s life following the service in Luther Hall.In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Petawawa would be appreciated.
