It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jean Flora Campbell on April 25, 2025, at the age of 64 years.

Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Rhoda (Acres) Campbell. She was a devoted sister to Colin (Lynne) Campbell and Glen Campbell, and a loving aunt to Paula (Yann St-Jacques Beauchemin) and Adam (Sophie Volhard). She was also a proud great-aunt to Willow Campbell.

Jean was a cherished friend to Bernice Day and Karen Campbell and will be deeply missed by her loyal cat, Molly.

Born at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, Jean was raised in Horton Township on her family’s homestead, where she lived her entire life. She was the primary caregiver to her father, Stanley, in his later years, demonstrating her deep sense of loyalty and compassion.

Jean had a great love for animals, a fondness for Bingo, and cherished spending time with her many friends. Jean was most proud to be acknowledged as a dedicated volunteer at the Horton Community Center and will be sadly missed by the volunteer crew. She was a familiar and friendly face in the Renfrew community, working for many years at the Renfrew Quality Inn, and more recently at Dairy Queen, and Haley Industries.

Jean will be remembered by friends, family, and all who knew her for her kind spirit, generous heart, and warm presence. She was known for her warm smile and contagious laugh. She leaves behind a legacy of love, community, and care.

She will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Horton Community Centre, May 10, 2025, 10 am to 1 pm. Private family interment at the North Horton Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Valley Animal Rescue.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pinnacle Cremation Services, Renfrew.
