May 25, 1927 – April 23, 2024

A brilliant light went out on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. But the beautiful radiance of Jean will remains with all who knew her.

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jean at Valley Manor, Barry’s Bay on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in her 97th year.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Eno. Loving and much loved mother of Carl, Janet (late Delmer Royce), Marguerite (late Brian Quane), Allen (Kaarina), June (late Pat Tooley), Barry (Marg Braithwaite), Bonne (late Derek Ivimey) and Tawni (Doug Welk). Cherished grandmother and great grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her two dear sisters, Julia (late Joe Mask) and Rose (late Ed Rabishaw). Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Frances Pecoskie; her brothers, Tony, Angus, Philip, Frank, Maxi and Stanley; as well as her sisters, Tessie, Stella and Mary.

Jean was the heart and soul of her home and family, sacrificing her own needs and desires to ensure the well being of her family. She excelled in her role as a caregiver, exemplifying her strength, love and kindness. It seemed she worked day and night.

She loved working in her garden, preserving and canning the bounty for all. She also loved knitting beautiful socks for everyone to enjoy. She was a homebody and was always there for others if you were in need of a warm hug, some encouragement and a cup of tea. She gave it with love.

Loving and kind in all her ways, upright and just to the end of her days.
Sincere and true, in her heart and mind, beautiful memories, she left behind.

Jean’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe where visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, Round Lake Centre on Tuesday morning at 11 am.
