Jean Marie Enright (nee Macdonald), born May 21, 1937; died May 1, 2019. Jean is survived by her husband of 58 years, Terry Enright; her son Paul (Tracey); siblings Cyril Macdonald (Constance), Anna Tremblay (Carl), Roderick Macdonald (Angelita); in-laws Cyril Enright (Loretta), Bill Crogie, Brian Enright, and Eileen Nolan and her much loved nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her sister-in-law Catherine Crogie. Jean was a born teacher, helping with her younger siblings, teaching school, then helping other teachers. In retirement, she volunteered at the local school helping children learn to read and was a contributing member of CWL. In her acceptance of Alzheimer’s Disease diagnosis, even in her dying, she continued to teach, showing us how to live life and pass into new life with grace and truth. Jean will be remembered for her gentle guidance, her readiness to give of herself, her desire to keep the peace. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Douglas, Ontario, Tuesday May 7th at 11 a.m. followed by cremation.
