April 6, 1937 – November 1, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce Jerry’s passing November 1, 2023 after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of 60 years to Diane (Calder), loving father of Frank and Jill Green, Tracey and Clayton Pecarski and Kelly and Rick Luckovitch.
He was the adoring Poppa to Hillary (Travis Towns), Colleen (Ryan Lepine), Joey, Jordan (Colton Rogers), Mackenzie, Brady (Katie Babcook) as well as great grandfather to Talon Towns. Left to mourn his passing are his siblings, Gorman (Agnes) and Francis, as well as his brother in law, Jim Calder. Jerry was predeceased by his son, Bill; his granddaughter, Katie Pecarski; his parents, Joseph and Catherine (O’Gorman); his sister, Jean Owens; and his brothers, Fr. Jack, Greg and Edwin.
Jerry always looked forward to the daily gathering of the coffee club where stories were told and sporting events rehashed. He was quite happy to stop and chat, to tell a joke or brag about his beloved New York Rangers.
