Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the age of 68 years.
John Darryll Wirth of Pembroke, beloved husband of Gail Wirth (nee Shortt). Cherished father of Joel Wirth (Jenn Stopa), Renfrew and step-father of Tammey Poff, Trenton and Shane Sine, Oshawa. Treasured grandfather of Austin Madill and Brayden Wirth; Brandon Poff, Kristianna Luciano and Raven Sine as well as great granddaughter Amara Madill-York. Deeply missed by sister Tamara Wirth, Pembroke. Predeceased by parents Jack and Ruth Wirth (nee Biesenthal), brother Brad Wirth and aunt Rhodella Giesebrecht (nee Biesenthal).
A Memorial Visitation was held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday, September 11 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service was held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 12 at Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley (423 Witt Road). Interment on ashes in the parish cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
