It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Joyce Bennett of Cobden, at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital with her daughter and granddaughters by her side on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the age of 88 years.

Joyce Bennett, nee Collins, beloved wife of the late Arnold Bennett (February 25, 1998) and special friend and companion of Kevin Wren. Predeceased by her son, Graham Bennett (November 17, 2015). Dear mother and best friend of Colleen (Doug) Wood. Cherished grandmother of Allison (Steve) Gendron and Cheryl (Jeff) Ramsay. Grandma B. to four great-grandchildren, Robert (Brooke), Alexis (Chance), Emma and Sofia and two great-great-grandsons, R.J. and Jackson. Daughter of the late Percil and Muriel (McBride) Collins. Survived by sisters-in-law, Annie (late Gordie) Taylor, Clair Huckabone (Harold Storie) and Linda (Gerry) Kohlsmith and brother-in-law, Carson (late Nora) Bennett. Predeceased by sister-in-law, Lillis (late Gordon) Hawthorne and brother-in-law, Millar (late Muriel) Bennett. Will be fondly remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews, the Wren family and friends.

Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 12 noon until 3 pm. Funeral service followed in the Chapel at 3:30 pm.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Grace United Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the Caressant Care Retirement Home and the amazing staff at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital for their excellent care of Joyce.
