He leaves behind four grandchildren who were his pride and joy― Kerri (Grant), Brendon, Jesse (Raven) and Lucas (Charlie). He also leaves behind his siblings, Hedwig, (late Alphie), Rosie (Rance), Barbara (Gerard) and Edward (Eleanor) and sister-in-law, Theresa. As well, as his in-laws, Aileen (Ernie), Stan and Gerard (Tricia) and many nieces and nephews.

Leonard was predeceased by his infant son, Peter, son, John, parents, Peter and Anastasia Trader (nee Luckovitch) and siblings, Raymond, Theresa (Alec), Tony, Doreen (Pete), Anna Mary and Mary Herman. He was also predeceased by his in-laws August and Annie Shulist (Yantha), Sylvester Shulist and Rita Shulist.
He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as colleagues from the Beer Store and his many years in his Sand and Gravel Business.

Sincerest appreciation to the St. Francis Memorial Hospital staff for the wonderful care provided to Leonard in his last days. As well thank you to Bayshore Services for their care and to the wonderful care provided by his private care team. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

So to those that cared for Leonard I am sure he has these words for you “Do zobaczenia pnownie” – until we meet again.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed – Rest in Peace.
