Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
Linda Ward (nee Waito) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Alfred Ward. Dear mother of Stephen Ward (Brenda) & Micheal Ward, both of Pembroke. Cherished Nanny of Tyler Laporte (Alisha), Kasey Ward (Mackenzie) & Reggie Austin (Mack). Great-grandmother of Rylan Laporte. Survived by mother, Leona Waito (nee Burger) and predeceased by father, Frank Waito.
Sister of Larry Waito (Janine), Debbie Trimble (Bob), Leanne Clark (Wayne), Connie Brocklebank (Ed) and sister-in-law of Jean Kuehl (late Wallace), Ethel Roberts (Kenny), Dolly Dament (late Raymond), Barney Ward (Nancy) and Horace Ward, late Everett Ward (late Shirley), late Arnold Ward, Wilbert Ward and Fermona Ferguson (late Billy). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Respecting Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at her home in the summer of 2022. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
