With loved ones by her side, Linda Thur’s (nee Christink) soul transitioned from her physical body to pure spirit.
She joined her late husband, Lindsay Thur and brother, Larry Christink. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Thur and her beloved cat, Bella. Auntie Linda will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as a multitude of friends.
Linda was involved in her community church, Golden Lake United and groups such as Cuddles and Hugs Quilters, the Deacon Gardening Club and the ladies painting group. Linda had a keen artistic eye and she enjoyed a dedicated career as a Registered Nurse. Highlights of her career were being a member of the IV team at the Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, working at a nursing home in Napanee and later in Cobden. Linda was an avid reader, known for her kindness and good sense of humour.

Linda’s service will be held at the St. John’s United Church, Golden Lake on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 officiated by minister and friend, Rev. Neil Lloyd. The service begins at 11 am followed by interment at the Golden Lake United Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Golden Lake Community Centre.
Charitable donations can be made in her honour to the Pembroke Regional Hospital and Canadian Blood Services.
