It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lorna Boldt at the age of 92 years.
She was deeply loved by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Proud mother of Peter (Shirley), Fred (Phyllis), Tom (late Amy), Mary Jane (Dwight) and Judith (April). Cherished grandmother of Kayse (Mike), Curtis, Amy, Steven, Erin, Adam (Melissa), Aimee, Emily, Noah. Great grandmother to Elijah, Gabriele, Oliver, Mackenzie.
Lorna is survived by her sister-in-law, Pat Eady (late John), her brother-in-law, Robert Griese (late Margaret), and her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Delta Boldt. Predeceased by her husband, Arnold, her brothers, Ellery, Ken, Glen, John Eady and Campbell Ferguson, her son-in-law, Wesley Warren, and her daughter-in-law, Amy (Chan) Boldt.
Lorna was an amazing, strong, determined and loving woman. She had the most heartwarming smile and laugh. She enjoyed being with her family and took joy in simple things. The empty place in our hearts will be filled with all of our wonderful memories.
At Lorna’s request there will be no visitation. Service of Christian Burial will be at the Renfrew Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 4 at 11 am followed by interment at the Horton Cemetery.
