Marcella passed away suddenly at Marianhill Nursing Home, Pembroke in the morning of Monday, November 6, 2023 at the age of 94.

Beloved wife of the late Isadore Yutronkie. Loving mother of Darlene, late Daryl, late Ron and Maureen (late Philip). She was a dear grandmother to Morgan, Carie, Jason, Shaun, Chris, Brian, Stacey and many great grandchildren. She will be missed by her friends, family, nieces and nephews.
Marcella is survived by her siblings, Patrick, Mickey, Audrey, Florence, Rita, Lornie, Theresa and Anna Mae. Predeceased by her parents, Theadore and Agnus (Lorbetskie) Surnoskie, and her siblings, Delmer, Elenor and Ben.

Marcella always loved to have her big garden every year. She loved to share her vegetables with others and enjoyed the time with friends and family when they would stop by. She will be remembered for her excellent baking and cooking skills in the kitchen which we are thankful to have had passed down.

Marcella’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe where visitation was held on Thursday, November 9 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A brief visiting was held on Friday morning from 9:30 to10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Killaloe at 11 am. Interment to follow in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Wildlife Road. In memory of Marcella, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
