Marion Fraser (nee Bell) left this world quietly and went to be with her Lord and Mac on August 9, 2024 in her 101st year.

Born April 21, 1924, Marion lived an active life, was the hub of her family and was blessed to be in reasonably good health until about 5 months before her death.

Marion was predeceased by Mac Fraser, her life partner for 77 years; her parents, DN Bell and Fannie Bell (nee Bennett); brother, Dr. David Nelson Bell; and great-grandson, Ryan Mick. She is survived by her children, Helen (Wally) Mick, and David (Sandra) Fraser; brother, Raymond Bell (late Ruby); grandchildren, Grant, Lee, Jody and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Ari, Thomas Eva and Cash; cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Marion loved to be surrounded by family and was always interested in what everyone in the family was doing. Marion was a member of the Wesley United Church family for 74 years. During that time she belonged to the UCW and the Couples Club.
She will be happy to see her family and friends that have gone before her and there will very likely be a game of six handed euchre take place with Helen and Bob, Eileen and Bill and she and Mac soon after her arrival.

Marion said a couple of days before leaving that she was excited that she was going to be with Mac soon. We are happy that she has moved to her forever home but sad to see her go, as she will be missed by all who knew her. She will be with us in our memories until we meet again.
We thank Dr. Bargh, Dr. Kudra and palliative care nurse Pam Dament for the care they provided to Marion over the past 5 months. Words cannot convey the gratitude and feelings we have for the staff at Riverview Heights Retirement Residence who cared for Marion over the past 5+ years and the exceptional nursing staff for the care, concern and love they gave to Marion and Mac . These folks are very special and will forever be part of Marion’s and our family’s life story. GOD bless them.
