Passed away at home in Westmeath on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the age of 42 years.

Loving father of Hunter and Lila. Cherished son of Donald and Maureen Matthews (nee McClelland). Dear brother of Megan, Melanie (Byron Tripard) and Monica (Jeremy McGinnis). Lovingly remembered by Penny (Bruce Farnel) along with many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation was held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service was Wednesday in the Chapel at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. The family welcomes any memories or stories to be shared at this time. Interment of the ashes at Beachburg Union Cemetery in the spring.
