In the early years when Mom and Dad were just staring out in the trucking business, while Dad was delivering Eaton’s appliances, Mom would deliver Eaton’s parcels from her car. People that remembered her often said while delivering parcels Mom would have 5 or 6 children in the car, and be expecting another. In later years Eaton’s approached Mom to run the Eaton’s order office in town which she did for many years. Mom enjoyed singing in the church choir, playing cards with her friends, paint by number, painting and knitting.
