It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Peter at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. He was 68.

Peter was the cherished son of the late Bernard and Mary (nee Kennelly). Peter was predeceased by his infant sister, Mary. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Elizabeth; his nieces and nephews; Shanna MacMillan (Jimmy), Johnny Windle (Katie), Brady Windle (Alana), Dane Brumm (Jessica) and Mallory Brumm; his great nieces and great nephews, Bridget MacMillan, Henry Windle, and Alice and Madelyn Windle; and the English and Kennelly family.

Peter’s love of hockey began at a very young age, The Montreal Canadiens was the first team that he cheered for. As he grew older and the Senators came on the scene he was an ardent Senators supporter. He was a constant cheerleader for his hometown Renfrew Timberwolves and he loved to go to the games and enjoyed talking to all of the players at the rink. He also loved baseball even when the Jay’s were losing. He enjoyed socializing with the staff at Bonnechere Manor who were so good to him during his 23 years there. He loved Bingo and all of the activities that were available. He made many lasting friends with the residents and staff. Peter will always be remembered for being quick with a smile, cheerful and always concerned about everyone around him. He was the essence of good.
