Phyllis Leclair (nee Whalen) at the age of 91 passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6th, 2025 in Mississauga surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She is now reunited with her husband of 59 years Raymond Leclair. She is survived by her daughters, Joanne and Adele, grandchildren, Andrew, Devin, Alicia and Kayla and great-grandchildren, Avery, Luka and Brandon. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Mary (Donovan) Whalen, her brothers, Jimmy, Jerome, Ellard, Gerald, Desmond (Desi) and sisters, Kathleen, Eileen and Josie.

Phyllis lived in Toronto for the last 8 years at Richview Seniors Residence. A very special thank you to the staff, care team and friends she was blessed with. Each and every one of them enriched her life. She especially loved baking for them all. She will be forever remembered for her warmth, kindness and a smile that would light up the room.

Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St., S Renfrew on Thursday, March 13th from 2-4 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Renfrew on Friday, March 14th at 10:30 am. Spring interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney or Diabetes Foundation.
