It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Raymond Andrew Dunbar. Ray passed away at home on Thursday, July 13, 2023, in his 65th year, after a long battle with cancer.
Much loved husband of Jean (nee Rousselle) of nearly 39 years. Loving father of Raelyn Warren (Michael). Son of the late James (JS) and Olive (nee Sullivan) Dunbar. Dear brother of Albert (Therese), Brian (Tracey), Cathy Watson (Leonard), Carl, Ronald (Lisa), Kevin and Nancy (Gilles Groulx). Predeceased by his siblings Patricia, Frank, Bernard, Andrew and Ruth. Fondly remembered by his large extended Rousselle family, many nieces and nephews, aunt and uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Ray’s family received friends at Horton Community Centre, Renfrew on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. A Liturgy of the Word was held on Wednesday, July 19 at St. James the Greater Parish, Portage-du-Fort, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Hospice Renfrew, an establishment near and dear to Ray’s heart.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pinnacle Cremation Services
