October 28, 1930 – July 27, 2023

Rhoda Johanna Elizabeth Kuehl (nee Kranz) slipped into the loving arms of her beloved Saviour on Thursday, July 27th at the age of 92 with her sister, Luella by her side.

Loving mother of Ruth Kuehl-Venn, grandmother to Tracy (Tyra), great-grandmother to Brayden and Chase, sister to Georgina and Luella (Ray Heideman). Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Louis, her parents, George and Hazel Kranz, son, Tom, Teddy (Ruth’s husband), siblings, Garnet (Lois) Kranz, Allan (Donna) Kranz, and Allen (Georgina’s husband).

Rhoda was a lifelong carer of people. Rhoda loved to cook, crochet and stitch. She created many meals and quilts over the years that many of her family, friends, and would be friends continue to enjoy. Rhoda was a longtime friend and member of the ladies group at Lyndoch Baptist Church where she shared her skills and positivity. No matter how busy she was, she always made time for family and friends. Her loving, generous and caring spirit will be missed by many.

Many thanks to the staff at Marianhill in Pembroke who loved and cared for Rhoda for the past 8 months, loving her infectious smile and desire to experience everything on offer.
