Richard Norman Bertram Culligan, aged 57 and one heck of a man, tragically and unexpectedly passed away May 11, 2019 surrounded by friends who loved him and who he loved in return. Rick was a fiercely loved husband, father, son, Papou (grandpa), brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend, among many other roles. Rick was a truly genuine and caring man who touched the lives of all who knew him.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Laura, his children, Samantha, Taylor, son-in-law, Dominik, grandson, Sawyer; his parents, Michael and Heather; sisters, Cindy (Allan) & Elaine; brother-in-law, Andy (Charlene), sister-in-law, Cathy (Perry) and Alex. Also survived by his nephews & nieces, Devon (Gayle), Mitchell (Kaylea), Jordan (Rebecca), Jamieson (Nicole), Shelby, Braeden, Breanna and Michael, Alex (Amanda) and the late Fraser. He was also a loved great uncle to Ryker, Lilly, Layla and Mason. And no one can forget the “May 24 Gang” and his best friend/brother, Shawn (Chris) Mulvihill.
His soft laugh, unique rendition of “Delta Dawn,” gentle spirit and total love & dedication to his loved ones will be sorely missed.
