Robert Stephen Childerhose passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, August 25, 2024 at Renfrew Victoria Hospital in his 75th year.

Loving husband of Margaret (Maggie) Childerhose. Proud father of Adam and Jennifer Turcotte (Reid). Predeceased by his daughter, Stephanie. Devoted stepfather of Jeremy and Joshua Armstrong (Augusta). Grandpa Bob will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Dear brother of Florence Wilson (late Brian) and Jean Quinn (Jim). Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Dorothy Childerhose. Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
We would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, especially Dr. Di Paolo and the third floor staff, for their excellent care and compassion shown to Bob.

A Gathering for Bob will be held at the Cobden Civitan Club, 42 Gould Street, Cobden, on Saturday, September 21, from 1– 4 p.m.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County or Renfrew Victoria Hospital would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pinnacle Cremation Services, Renfrew.
