June 22, 1949 – July 30, 2019

Sharon passed away peacefully at La Maison des Collines Palliative Care Home in Wakefield, Quebec  on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in her 71st year. She was predeceased by her husband, Jacques Salvail.  She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Fournier & grandchildren, Alex and Madison, and her son, Glen Cook and his wife, Alane.  Sharon will be dearly missed by her nephew and caregiver, Jacques Lanthier, his daughter, Veronik and his three wonderful triplets, Gaby, Emma & Nick who also spent countless hours staying with Sharon both at her home and while she was in the hospital.

The daughter of the late Leo & Ellen O’Reilly (Eggert), Sharon was one of 11 children.  She is survived by her siblings Barbara Kranz, Maureen (Moon ) Power (Kelly), Dermott (Phyllis Doran), Jonathan (Dixie McIntyre), Jane Zohr (Lorenz), Joanne Hoelke (Terry), Mark and Shaun (Cheryl Kidd), also her sister-in-law, Betty O’Reilly (Stroud) & brother-in-law, Carl Sadler.  She was predeceased by her siblings Brian & Erin & brother-in-law Harold Kranz.  Sharon will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and many friends.

Professional services entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. A memorial service will be held at the Rupert United Church, 646 Chemin des Erables, La Peche, Quebec on Saturday afternoon August 17, 2019 at 2pm.
