It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stanley after a brief illness at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 just a few short weeks prior to his 83rd birthday. He has gone to join his beloved wife, Heather Peters who predeceased him in 2016. Beloved dad of Isabell (Arthur Penny). He was predeceased by his cherished granddaughter, Zabrina. Dear brother of Mary (late Thomas Dedo), Barbara (late Glenn McGaghan), Catherine (Garry Molson). Predeceased by his brothers, Albert, Florian, Leonard, Thomas, Patrick, and Phil and his sisters, Annie, and Theresa (late Victor Klaman). He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Irene and Frances, the Peters family and his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 2-4, and 6-8 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Tuesday, April 29th at 10:30 am. Private interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice Renfrew or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
