It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Vivian Schoenberger on January 16, 2024, following a long illness at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband, Adolf. Loving mother to Annette and Angela (Hutton). Dear Grandma to Emmett, Anna (Jeff), Mary (Justin) and Benjamin (Samantha). Beloved GG to Reid, Everett and Parker. Vivian was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Willow Jessup, her brothers, Gerald and Wayne, her sisters-in-law, Jane and Trudy, and her brothers-in-law, Paul (Maria), Bruno (Freida) and Rudi (Josie). She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Jessup. Vivian will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Vivian moved from Quadeville to Renfrew to complete high school before starting her career at Scotiabank and later meeting her husband, Adolf. They were married for 44 years when Adolf passed away in 2011. Mom had a love for fishing and time spent at the cottage on Charlotte Lake. Quilting was her passion, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride of her life.
The family wishes to extend a thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital who showed great care and compassion to our Mom in her final days. Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew, where visitation will be held on Monday, January 29 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 30 from 10 to 11 am, followed by a service in the Zohr Family Chapel at 11 am. Spring interment in Letterkenny Christian Cemetery, Lost Nations Road.
