Daffinee passed peacefully with family by her side at Hospice in Barry’s Bay. Daffinee will be dearly missed by her husband of 52 years, Dawson, and by her children, Corwin and Jonathan.
Daffinee was predeceased by her father, Claude; her brothers-in-law, Gary Carnegie, Gary Mayhew, Desmond Quade, Morley Bowes, Garnet Kauffeldt, Ken O’Brien, David Gogolin and Dick Kuehl; and her sisters-in-law, Yvonne O’Brien, Kathleen Kauffeldt, Wannita Mayhew, Theresa Poulan and Joan Quade. Daffinee will be dearly missed by her mother, Jean; her sisters, Dale, Brenda(Terry), Michelle (Gerry), Monica(Darcy), and Barb(Rick); her brothers, Barry (Yvonne), Glen (Joanna) and Dean (Norma); her sisters-in-law, Shirley, Barb, Charlotte, and Shelby; and her brother-in-law, Glen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the Ottawa Hospital cancer team, MV Hospice Barry’s Bay, Dr. Malinowski and the many family and friends that have been there throughout. Services were held on Saturday, August 19 at the Quadeville Pentecostal Church.
